It is impossible to always be alternative.

/emoji/twitter.icon What I thought after reading the Haruki Murakami feature in BRUTUS is that he should either realize that he is an authority or accept it and create a library like that. Even if you want to be on the side of throwing eggs instead of being a wall, you are already a wall. What is being asked is how to behave as a wall.

If you take an alternative position and it works well and you are directed, you will eventually become an authority.
If you always try to take an alternative position without being prepared to accept that you are an authority, everyone will cease to be adults.

Shirasu is also a platform for that purpose
Administration is what makes a company a company

After getting my PhD, I started my own research lab as an assistant professor at a national university at the age of 27, and it's been almost five years since then. I became an associate professor and also served as an assistant to the university president. I have various thoughts about my career in academia. / #DailyShortNotes | Yoichi Ochiai | note
